The Luncheon Project

My wife and I were talking last night about our next big project. We came up with the idea to start The Luncheon Project:

A few weeks ago, we heard Jon Bradshaw of Silicon Slopes talk about his White Knight Networking Theory. The basic idea was that we should be taking 50 people to lunch over the course of a year to help build a professional network. We figured that the best way to make sure we did this consistently would be to start a public project that people would expect us to maintain. And so The Luncheon Project was born.

Our goal is to take one professional to lunch each week and then write a blog post about the kinds of things we talk about, the lessons learned, the pitfalls to avoid, and the general stories of success. So stay tuned at http://www.theluncheonproject.com to read about the interesting people we’re taking to lunch.
